Unisex Sling bag
Our sustainable sling bag is a new "take" on an indispensable urban travel bag. The design is simple, the look is completely unique and the functionality is top notch. The bag is easily passed around on your back when you cycle, go for a walk or dance through the city, and if you need to grab something in the bag, you can just pull it to the front. The wide zipper makes the opening large, so you can easily see and grab what you have in your bag. In terms of size, the bag is perfect to hold all the belongings you always have with you: phone, purse, keys, a water bottle and possibly also glasses or sunglasses. In addition, there is an outside zipper pocket, so your phone is well protected in a separate pocket. The strap is adjustable in length and equipped with a click buckle.
Not only is this bag pretty cool, but it's also made by creatively upcycling materials that would otherwise go to waste.Transforming leftover materials, deadstock and second-hand materials into something that has more value and less environmental impact is the core of our business. When you choose an upcycled item, you help reduce the environmental footprint of the fashion industry and support the transition to a circular economy.
"New waste" materials
GRÜNBAG Sling is made of discarded materials. We collect surplus materials and clippings from the production of truck tarpaulins that would otherwise have ended its days on incineration. The material is both waterproof and durable, so you can carry your bag with you for many years. The extra pocket is made of advertising banners from various events or concerts, and the adjustable harness is made of recycled polyester (rPET). In other words, the sling bag is a statement about sustainable lifestyle and upcycling because we can only be circular together.
Is it waterproof?
The tarpaulin material is 100% waterproof, but the bag should not be placed directly in water as the seams are not sealed. Nevertheless, the seams are very tight, so that the bag will be a good companion even on rainy days.
